The video on multi-tasking was an eye opener and reassuring because it confirmed a lot of the feelings I feel when multi-tasking and just my view on brain power. I agree with the bad effects of multi-tasking. In the video it stated frustration and stress being a factor which was relate-able being that I usually almost all the time feel stressed out. I believe this is due to overthinking and the frequent switching of tasks at my job. My brain isn’t being allowed to focus on one thing so it gets stressed and I become frustrated at not feeling successful in a single task or part of my life because I could not give it all my time and attention.

I also recall learning that your brain can only really
focus for 8 mins straight, I’m not sure on how accurate that information was.
However I also often find myself getting uninterested or not processing
information to my liking when the time is long and the task is of great
difficulty. When I am doing my homework I can become frustrated and often do
use music as a coping mechanism to give my brain a break. So I agree with the
information given in the video and would say multitasking is overall negative
and bad for you, and your brain to a certain extent. I feel it has positive
effects in the sense of it can strengthen your sensory skills and expand your
tolerance of the already negative effects of multi-tasking.
